Yesterday, upon visiting a friend out of the City, I was surprised by the gift of lunch at her house. Rather than going out to dine, she made the effort to treat us both at her house. It was so delightful and nourishing. Today, a friend was coming to visit me, so as a surprise I ‘played/paid it forward’ by having a bite prepared. It is such a treat when you don’t expect it; and indeed nourishing.
