This restaurant in the West Village has turned the sidewalk into a vegetable garden. It is to the south of their terrace and front door. On each pot the white sign asks passersby to ‘watch’ but ‘not touch’. As I was approaching to take the pictures, I saw a handy man twist off a tomato and disappear.
