Clouds and Scenes
On the drive to the Coast, the scenery is ever changing. The vineyards, the flatlands, the clouds, the brooks and rivers that rush along side the two lane road as it carves it’s way through the forest.

A 3 Syllable Word
Every time I use the directional voice on my phone, she makes ‘Portland’ into a 3 syllable word: ‘take the exit toward Por-t-land’, she instructs.
Subtle Suggestion
Oregon/Portland recycles. The large green bin on the left is for yard debris. The middle blue one is for plastics/paper/glass and the tinier third one is for household garbage. And they remain curbside in a lot of neighborhoods. Not particularly adding to the ‘curb appeal’.
This I Do Not Understand
In the Oregonian, are advertisements for children in search of foster care homes. It reminds me of advertisements for pets. It feels absolutely inappropriate. Can anyone enlighten me on this.
