Said in Passing Posted byThe Chronicler December 11, 2017December 8, 2017 A few months ago, I mentioned to the neighbor girl that I wanted to have an outside Christmas tree at the Holiday time. I’d never had one previously and I don’t know why the idea came up at the time. Two days ago i was second-handing and there were trees being sold for $5. They were short and i could lift them. So I bought one, put it in the backseat of my car and took it home. Using my handy pruning saw, the next day, I cut the trunk again and put it in a bucket of water. Hours later I put it in the stand. Then I weighted it down with rocks so that it will not blow over. Voila. here it is.
