There it lay; sewn up at the sides, top and bottom, apparently someone’s attempt to make a pillow front. Again, discarded handiwork. The image is of the most descriptive building in the City. it didn’t beg to be rescued, I was on it the minute it poked up from under all the balls of yarn. It was one-third smaller than pictured here. Chose a 10 cent frame from the nearby stack, I thought might work. Brought it all to the cashier. She looked at it, turned to her co-worker and said “Oh just give it to her'”. I was gratefully stunned. Brought it home, removed all the stitchings and all the auxiliary pieces of fabric. Ironed it. Place the frame around it. Voila!
